Entrepreneurs

The Entrepreneur Program seeks to attract experienced business persons who will own and actively manage businesses in Canada that contribute to the economy and create jobs. The entrepreneur class is prescribed as a class of persons who may become permanent residents on the basis of their ability to become economically established in Canada. Entrepreneurs must demonstrate

a) Business experience;

b) Minimum legally obtained a minimum net worth of CAN$300,000,

c) Provide a written statement to an officer that they intend and will be able to meet the conditions set for this class.

For the purpose of determining whether, as a member of the entrepreneur class and the applicant's family members will be able to become economically established in Canada, an officer will assess the applicant on the basis of the following factors;
